2024 marks the fifth year of the establishment of the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS) as Singapore’s first and only national multidisciplinary dental centre that integrates clinical and research expertise with education service in a one-stop facility.
The milestone was marked with a gala dinner held today, graced by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development & Second Minister for Health, Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs.
NUCOHS opened its first geriatric-specialised satellite clinic at Alexandra Hospital that will provide dental treatment exclusively to older adults aged 65 years and above who may have pre-existing illnesses and/or mobility issues. NUCOHS Dental Clinic @ AH will bring subsidised dental treatment closer to senior residents living in Queenstown and western Singapore.
The clinic's official opening on 3 April was graced by Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health, Singapore
