This clinically focused workshop provides a practical immersion into pulpotomy and pulpectomy techniques for specialists outside of endodontics. What to expect from the workshop? Through a structured blend of short lectures and hands-on exercises, participants will revisit the biological principles of vital pulp therapy, understand the indications and contraindications, and refine their technical skills in managing deep caries and inflamed pulps. The pulpotomy segment emphasises technique-sensitive steps; achieving reliable haemostasis, selecting the right capping material, and ensuring a durable coronal restoration. The pulpectomy segment introduces safe access and canal negotiation, irrigation fundamentals, and strategies for managing challenging teeth with pulpitis.
